Grants are given out by Haltwhistle Carnival every year
The Haltwhistle Carnival is funded by a street collection on the day, and be entry costs to the event throughout the week, also by donations from stall holders and sponsorship from some local business. The field we use is just on the outskirts of the town and is by kind donation of the National Trust and local farmer MR. J. Ogle.
Every year the Carnival Committee give back some of the money raised. This goes to various local groups such as; the local football team, youth clubs, toddler groups and senior citizen groups.
